This blog isn't easily defined. It's not one particular theme or area of my expertise, it's sort of a hazy mishmash of all the thoughts that cross my mind.

Enjoying the burger too much!

I use to live in a small town in rural Australia - until I moved to the big smoke for work and a 'career' (more on that later!). I love my hometown and I love the people that I share my life with. I can only really count my close friends on one hand, and have learnt a lot of life's lessons young - as only living in such a tiny town can teach you. The biggest lesson that I've learned is that you can't hold on to all the things that upset you. If I'd cut my ties with all the people that have hurt, upset, betrayed or backstabbed me I'd have two, perhaps three people in my life that I considered friends. Sometimes you've just got to learn to let go.

I've withdrawn from studying accounting externally, altogether in fact. I just couldn't bring myself to do it, I didn't enjoy the content or the future prospects, and so now I face the problem of - what am I going to do? I think I'll pay off all my debts, these include;
  • my car loan
  • my loan from dad when I hit a kangaroo
  • paying off damage I did to another car (I maintain that lover's brakes were shoddy!)
  • I think that's it.
Anyway, my plans are to pay all that off by the end of this year, and then enroll in journalism or a similar degree and study full time. That's the way! Get qualified as soon as pos. However my current aforementioned debts are making that somewhat of a pipedream at present.

This blog may never have more readers than the few people that follow me, but it's a way of getting all my ideas down and out so that I can move on from things, and not have them stored, pent up inside of me forever.

So I'll sign off now, and let you judge for yourself whether I'm worth giving up the 2 minutes a day to read or not :)

Do everything so that it's beautiful xx

P.S. Thanks to the two most important people in my life :)

My support and inspiration.

My wonderful, my lovely, my sister.
